Connection between ‘Diplomacy’ and ‘Archives’
Resumen
Archivo y documento, conjunción que importa a la Diplomática como ciencia, cuya finalidad es sobre todo conocer la autenticidad o falsedad de los documentos, cuyo destino final son los archivos. Es decir, archivo y diplomática se complementan porque comparten el mismo objeto material: el documento. En el trabajo se analiza el concepto tradicional y actual de la diplomática y diferentes aspectos del documento. Su clasificación en público y privado, las personas que intervienen en las diferentes fases, «actio y conscriptio» de su confección. Se hace una referencia especial a la «Pragmática de los Tratamientos y cortesías» y a la carta como tipo documental

Abstract
The concepts of «File» and «Document» are important for the ‘Diplomacy’ as a science, which purpose is mainly to perceive the authenticity or falseness of documents. In other words ‘File’ and ‘Diplomacy’ are complementary because they share the same material object: the document. In this paper the traditional and the present concept of the ‘Diplomacy’ is analyzed, as well as the different aspects of the document. It is classified in private and public, and the people who take part in the different phases as «actio and conscriptio» in the groundwork. There is also a special reference to «The Pragmatic of the Treatments and the Courtesies» and to the letter as a documentary type
