Se analiza la necesidad e importancia en incluir investigación científica como parte de la formación reglada de los archivistas, como medio que permite la generación de nuevo conocimiento. Así mismo, que en los planes de estudios de las carreras de Archivística se contemplen cursos relacionados con la investigación, para iniciar a los estudiantes, desde los primeros niveles de su formación, en la aventura de la pesquisa científica

Abstract
This paper analyzes the need and importance of scientific research as part of the archivists’ education as a means to generate new knowledge. In the same sense, it is important that university study archive programs or curriculums include courses related to scientific research to introduce students into this scientific adventure since the very beginning of the career
