Methodological Guidelines for the Elaboration of an Ontology from a Thesaurus: Comparative Analytical Study (Phase I)
Resumen
El presente artículo se encuentra basado en la monografía de grado titulado Guía metodológica para la elaboración de una ontología a partir de un tesauro: estudio analítico comparativo (fase I), en la que se describen los aspectos y resultados más importantes de la investigación. En su primera fase, analiza las estructuras del tesauro, identifi ca sus elementos y los direcciona para la elaboración de una ontología —sin incluir el editor y la diagramación de esta—, discriminando metódicamente cada una de las herramientas y fases del análisis. Finalmente, se ofrecen las conclusiones y las observaciones de este estudio, las cuales serán la base para la segunda fase, en la que se expondrá la guía metodológica

Abstract
This article is based on the undergraduate thesis entitled Methodological Guidelines for the Elaboration of an Ontology from a Thesaurus: Comparative Analytical Study (Phase I), which describes the most important aspects and results of the investigation. The structures of the thesaurus are analyzed during the fi rst phase, identifying its elements and guiding them towards the elaboration of an ontology —not including the editor and the layout––, methodically discriminating each and every tool and phase of the analysis. Finally, the conclusions and observations of the study are supplied, which will be used as a basis for the second phase, where the methodological guide will be presented
