Resumen
Con el objetivo de presentar el concepto y la aplicación real de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial, se realizó una investigación, cuyo resultado se entrega en el presente artículo, en primer lugar se presenta la contextualización teórica e histórica del término, permitiendo dar claridad y/o complementar las creencias que puedan tener las personas sobre la responsabilidad social empresarial; para enfocarnos en la práctica , entregamos la descripción del ejercicio y resultados alcanzados por la Fundación Carvajal, perteneciente a la organización Carvajal, encargada de la dimensión social de la responsabilidad social empresarial y del desarrollo de políticas, destacando las prácticas y resultados alcanzados, validando su efectividad y alcance, por último se encuentran las conclusiones encontradas
