This research work aims to design a strategy for the development of the skills required for the promotion of savings in boys and girls of the fourth grade of primary school at the Juan del Corral Technical College. This was done in order to create an impact on the pedagogical structure for Economic and Financial Education, especially in this school stage of childhood after identifying the lack of training received by children in schools. The work begins by identifying the problem with a documentary review after recognizing the basic concepts about the financial culture that develops from a better decision making about the resource of money. Then, the advances and works that have been pedagogically implemented in the children were identified in order to approach and interpret the topic from a broader perspective, relating this to the economies from home and school. In this way, with the knowledge provided by the documentary research, the field work and taking as reference the Basic Standard of Competencies (EBC) financial training strategies were determined in the boys and girls to encourage savings from practices and methodological proposals that could promote habits according to the competences that strengthen financial knowledge and an adequate development on how to manage money in the economy.
