Once carried out the gathering, the transport, the storage and classification of the plastic residuals, the granulator process should be carried out, being a fundamental stage for the optimization of the recovery and incorporation from the plastic residuals to the productive cycle. The design, construction and implementation of an automatic granulator, allow the volume exaggerated and negative impacts that it generates the disposition outdoors of these residuals to diminish. The granulator receives maximum material of dimensions of 30cm x 30cm according to the dimensions of the feeding mouth, then short the material, through six mobile kitchen knives and two fixed, which are seated in 4 masses that rotate to the speed of the axis (625 r. p. m). When being cut the material, he/she filters in the moment in that goes by the sieve, the dimensions of this material they are not bigger to a (1) cm, since is the minimum size for any later process as extrusion or injection. The operation state in the key parts of granulator is visualized, so that the operative has an express and easy access of information on the operation of the granulator without necessity of revising all the components of the granulator. The electric design of the granulator has in bill factors like the overload that operate making automatically that this he/she stops for security of the same one.
