La Paratuberculosis es una enfermedad crónica y progresiva del intestino en rumiantes causada por Mycobacterium avium paratuberculosum (MAP). La bacteria es transmitida a animales jóvenes, iniciando su manifestación en adultos produciendo grandes pérdidas económicas. El objetivo de este estudio es comprobar la eficiencia de los protocolos de lavados sanitarios para embriones que exige la International Embryo Transfer Society (I.E.T.S) para la familia de los Mycobacterium sp. El material a procesar se obtuvo de 43 hembras ovinas seropositivas a paratuberculosis sin manifestaciones clínicas de la enfermedad. Para la obtención quirúrgica de los embriones, los animales del estudio fueron sincronizados, superovulados y manejados por monta natural. Los embriones recolectados fueron 48 y se dividieron de la siguiente manera: el primer grupo se les realizó 10 lavados con PBS, cada lavado de 30 segundos de duración; al segundo grupo se efectuó un lavado con tripsina por 5 minutos y 3 enjuagues con PBS; el tercer es tomado como el grupo control.
The Paratuberculosis is a chronic and progressive illness of the intestine in ruminant caused by Mycobacterium avium paratuberculosum (MAP). The bacteria is transmitted to young animals, beginning her manifestation in adults producing big economic losses. The objective of this study is to check the efficiency of the protocols of laundries sanitariums for embryos that the International demands Embryo Transfer Society (I.E.T.S) for the family of the Mycobacterium sp. The material to be processed obtained from 43 female seropositive ovinas to paratuberculosis without clinical manifestations of the illness. For the surgical obtaining of the embryos, the animals of the study were synchronized, superovulados and managed for it mounts natural. The gathered embryos were 48 and they were divided in the following way: the first group was carried out 10 laundries with PBS, each laundry of 30 seconds of duration; to the second group a laundry was made with tripsina by 5 minutes and 3 mouthwashes with PBS; the third are taken as the group control.
