This project focused on the design and implementation of an information system that allows the monitoring of environmental conditions within the Lasalle Bogotá museum, specifically the internal temperature and relative humidity of the rooms used to store the collections that are not exposed. The architecture of the system consists of 3 levels: A lower level composed of the DHT11 / DHT22 sensors which take and send the measurements, an intermediate level of acquisition made up of the Arduino IDE and a higher level of management which the Raspberry pi 3B+ compute, this last one being the server. This system was developed mainly on Node-red and the user interface designed allows different tasks to be carried out, such as: Knowing the environmental conditions of each room, searching and analyzing the behavior of variables in past dates, sending reports and alert messages to the e-mail, set limits on temperature or relative humidity and erase previously saved data in the database. The construction of this software-type tool made it possible to evaluate how feasible it is to use free development environments and low-cost and low-consumption technology to solve the environmental monitoring needs that a museum has today, focused on the preservation of its collections, evaluating their performance and stability of use in the future.
