Riparian systems play an important ecological role, since they regulate and buffer changes in temperature, promote biological corridors, connecting habitats that are isolated, turning them into dynamic and complex ecosystems. Currently, numerous hectares of riparian systems are destined for agroecosystems, generating a negative effect on these environments, both for the vegetation and the fauna present. Therefore, the objective of this study is to compare the diversity of the riparian spider communities in two lotic systems with different degrees of intervention. The study was carried out at Hacienda Matepantano, located in the municipality of Yopal Casanare. The samplings were made during the day; Linear transects of 50 m were placed at the edges of the riparian system, additionally the total sample had three replicas. For the collection of individuals, the techniques of "manual soil collection (0 - 0.5 m)", "Revealing technique" and "pitfall traps" were used. In total, 517 individuals were collected, distributed in 8 families and 34 morphospecies. The most representative families in the study were Tetragnathidae and Araneidae. Specific richness and dominance were evaluated, and it was verified by means of the Kruskal-Wallis test that there are no significant differences. Subsequently, the effectiveness of the sampling was evaluated by means of the species accumulation curve, using non-parametric estimators (Chao1, ACE, Cole).
