Resumen

La infraestructura ha sido históricamente para los países el motor de desarrollo, ha traído muchas inversiones y empleo para la mano de obra no calificada. En Colombia a nivel municipal encontramos entidades que manejan la infraestructura de manera que mantienen la existente, construyen nueva y rehabilitan. Para el caso del presente estudio, se entrará a analizar uno de los trámites que más dolor de cabeza le ha generado al Instituto y es la liquidación de los contratos de obra; analizando los diferentes inconvenientes que se presentan, desde un marco legal y económico, acompañados de una guía para la liquidación exitosa de contratos en los tiempos establecidos por la ley.

The infrastructure has historically been the engine for development countries, has brought a lot of investment and employment for unskilled labour. In Colombia at the municipal level are entities that manage the infrastructure to maintain the existing, build new and rehabilitated. In this case the study was to analyse one of the most paperwork headache has generated the Institute and is the liquidation of construction contracts; analyzing the various inconveniences that arise from a legal and economic framework, accompanied by a guide for the successful settlement of contracts in the time prescribed by law.
