This paper presents a methodology to get companies working by projects could acquire a more agile dynamic in the creation of efficient work teams to achieve greater and better results in less time. The study was conducted in two phases: an initial focus on the literature review, which takes into account the teamwork and the prospects for a company where you want to form effective working teams and the final one, which presents a methodology for the selection and formation of efficient work teams. The proposed methodology begins from theories where there are characteristics of teams from different perceptions through the vision that has the competence management, in different dimensions of human capabilities. To form an efficient teamwork from competence management, it is necessary that organizations have clear goals and objectives to be met from the beginning of the formation and allocation of each of the members that make up these teams. Some of the models and theories of Competence management highlights the value of intellectual capital generated by each person in organizations, from there, the momentum that has taken today with regard to personnel training and strengthening of selection processes that highlight the need not to get only specific knowledge, but also have a number of characteristics in people that allow decision coping not only at the operational level but at the social level to meet the needs of a dynamic world, tending to change, to facilitate and to take account of each and every one of the ideas and contributions that provide team members, always looking to strengthen and thereby achieving the improvement in the quality of processes and results thereof.
