Resumen
El propósito de este artículo consiste en rastrear la noción de crítica usada por Foucault en sus conferencias “Qué es la crítica? y “¿Qué es la ilustración?” y articularla con algunas otras obras en las que el francés plantea lo que implica realizar una ontología crítica del presente. Lo anterior nos llevará a la pregunta por la relación entre Kant y Foucault, pues según el propio pensador frances existe una continuidad entre uno y otro -a pesar de la diferencia de sus proyectos- basada en la afirmación de que el que-hacer filosófico es a la vez crítico como se argumentará. En un segundo momento, se establecerá la relación entre crítica y Aufklärung, pues esta hace inmanente lo que significa hacer crítica en la actualidad; esta relación es entendida en dos sentidos, como una interrogación sobre el presente y como la transformación de la propia subjetividad de quien hace crítica. En un tercer momento, el artículo analizará el uso que pensadores contemporáneos le han dado a la noción de crítica, específicamente en dos casos, el de Judith Butler y de Thomas McCarthy. Butler hace una relectura desde la perspectiva de la transformación del sujeto y la transformación de sí, y McCarthy vincula la crítica con la Escuela de Frankfurt y la teoría crítica de la sociedad; el artículo explorará estos momentos, que tienen un vínculo con la noción propuesta por Foucault, recogiéndola con limitaciones. Finalmente el artículo se aventura en una comprensión de la labor de la filosofía, ligada a la noción de crítica como su condición de posibilidad.

The purpose of this article is to trace the notion of criticism used by Foucault in his lectures "What is criticism? and "What is the illustration?" and articulate it with some other works 2 in which the Frenchman raises what it implies to make a critical ontology of the present. This will lead us to the question of the relationship between Kant and Foucault, because according to the French thinker there is a continuity between one and the other - despite the difference in their projects - based on the claim that philosophical what-is is at the same time critical as will be argued. In a second moment, the relationship between criticism and Aufklärung will be established, since it makes immanent what it means to make criticism in the present; This relationship is understood in two senses, as an interrogation on the present and as the transformation of the subjectivity of the one who makes criticism. In a third moment, the article will analyze the use that contemporary thinkers have given to the notion of criticism, specifically in two cases, that of Judith Butler and Thomas McCarthy. Butler makes a rereading from the perspective of the transformation of the subject and the transformation of himself, and McCarthy links criticism with the Frankfurt School and the critical theory of society; The article will explore these moments, which have a link with the notion proposed by Foucault, picking it up with limitations. Finally, the article ventures into an understanding of the work of philosophy, linked to the notion of criticism as its condition of possibility.
