Resumen

El objetivo de esta investigación es determinar los efectos que tiene la bancarización en el crecimiento económico del departamento de Nariño para el periodo de tiempo 2000-2013. Diversos autores de la literatura económica han asegurado que existe una relación positiva entre el sistema financiero y el crecimiento económico, considerando que la intermediación y profundización financiera hacen parte de los factores determinantes del crecimiento. El enfoque de esta investigación es cuantitativo y la metodología utilizada es la de estadística multivalente. El análisis de resultados señala que de las cuatro variables que influyen en el PIB, la cartera comercial es la más significativa, lo que permite concluir que la bancarización tiene un efecto positivo en el crecimiento económico de Nariño.Palabras Clave: Bancarización, servicios financieros, crecimiento económico.

The objetive of this investigation is determine the effects that bancarization have in the economic increase of the Nariño’s department in the time of 2000-2013. Some authors of the economic literature says that exist a relation between the finance system and the economic increase, considering that the intermediation and the economic deepening are part of the determinant facts of the increase. The focusing of this investigation is quantitative and the metodology is of the multivalent statistic. The analysis of the results said that the four variables that influence in the PFB, the commercial portfolio is the most significant, and we can conclusion that the bancarization have a positive effect in the economic increase of Nariño.Keywords: Bancarization, financial service, economic increase.
