Resumen

This case was implement to determine the importance of including behavioral factors in the structure of financial education programs proposed by the Government and bank entities in Colombia. It was made through an experimental approach, designed from some concepts and theories of behavioral finance of two different groups. The first group was make with career students to order with the financial sector and the second was confirmed by a random sample. The findings of this research allowed us to identify that people vary the fate of their income depending on the availability of money and external factors such as majority elections, as well as, is prominent information asymmetry between market agents. In conclusion, this study helps clarify that behavioral factors are vital in financial decision-making and as such, its implementation in the referred financial education programs is mandatory
