Resumen
Este proyecto tuvo por objetivo la evaluación de la contaminación difusa en la parte alta y media de la microcuenca Quebrada El Cune, mediante la simulación de escenarios con el modelo WEAP, con el fin de determinar la disponibilidad del recurso hídrico en términos de su calidad. El trabajo investigativo llevado a cabo en la parte noroccidental del municipio de Villeta - Cundinamarca tomó como unidad mínima de estudio las Unidades de Tierra características particulares permitió un mayor nivel de detalle para su análisis. Asimismo, para cada una de las Unidades se calcularon las cargas contaminantes de parámetros fisicoquímicos por medio de datos típicos que afectan la calidad del recurso hídrico. Dichos parámetros se estimaron teniendo como referencia los sistemas productivos agrícolas, pecuarios y domésticos practicados en la zona.

The objective of this Project is to evaluate the diffuse pollution in the high and mid section of the micro watershed El Cune creek through the simulation of different scenarios using the WEAP model, so the availability of the water resource (in terms of quaity) can be determined. The investigation was developed in the north-west part of Villeta-Cundinamarca and used Land Units as the smallest unit of study. This land had specific features that allowed a more detailed analysis. For each of these units, the polluting load of physicochemical parameters were measured with typical data that affect the quality of the water resource. The agricultural, domestic and livestock systems of the area were used as reference to estímate those parameters. Through the WAP system three scenarios were simulated: Dry, normal and wet year. In these scenarios the behaviour of the creek pollution was observed and the socio-economic activities that affect the most the resource quality were identified.
