The present work proposes a solution of a mobile robot to travel uneven terrain, and automatically reduce oscillations of a platform supported in parallel by three kinematic chains. The purpose of the platform is to support a camera to take images and identify weeds. The Mobile Robot for Agricultural Applications (RMAA) was developed to attenuate the movements present in the routes of the crops, which present undulations, unevenness and inclinations depending on the place, given the variety of thermal floors and heights at sea level that our country. The RMAA is based on a 3-RRS (Rotative, Rotative, Spherical) structure, the robot has three kinematic chains, which connect the vehicle chassis with the mobile platform, allowing the system to enjoy three degrees of freedom: two rotational movements and a translational one. It is important to note that the objective of the project was to control only one degree of freedom, but finally it was possible to control two degrees of freedom, obtaining better results in the mitigation of oscillations. The document presents the CAD modeling, where the necessary parts of the prototype are shown; and the support to couple the sensor (IMU) to the mobile platform is detailed, which obtained the capture of the data of inclination of the platform with respect to the axis of the earth. Likewise, the robot modeling, the controller design, and finally the functional tests on the mobile structure are presented. The controller was developed on the ROS (Robot Operating System) platform, seeking to bring the parallel structure to the desired place; and thus, mitigate the oscillations of the terrain to which it was subjected
