Resumen

El establecimiento de 5000 m² de frijol variedad Calima ( Phaseolus vulgaris L ) se realizó con fines comerciales y como modelo productivo en la finca La Esperanza, vereda Centro Norte, del municipio de Chámeza Casanare. Para la ejecución del presente proyecto se realizó un manejo agronómico óptimo, donde se tuvo en cuenta desde el análisis de suelo que se realizó en el laboratorio de Suelos de la Universidad de La Salle, hasta cada una de las etapas durante el ciclo del cultivo como selección de personal y capacitación, limpieza del lote y retiro del material voluminoso, nivelación de pH con CAL, siembra, resiembra, fertilización edáfica y foliar, control de arvenses y cosecha para posterior comercialización en el casco urbano del municipio y otros municipios del departamento del Casanare. Se demostró que la densidad de siembra empleada para el cultivo no afectó la productividad, aun considerando que se estableció un monocultivo. Sin embargo, para futuros proyectos en la región se recomienda aplicar un adecuado plan de manejo agronómico. El proyecto tuvo un alto impacto social, pues, se logró la vinculación laboral de adultos mayores y personas en condición de discapacidad, facilitando una oportunidad laboral que escasamente se ve en la región para este tipo de población. En cuanto a la comercialización del frijol, dado que fue en tiempos de pandemia, logró positivamente explorar estrategias de venta, como por ejemplo la utilización de grupos de WhatsApp con uso comercial en el municipio de Chámeza para ofrecer el producto, facilitando la interacción directa con los clientes y evitando intermediarios en las ventas.

The establishment of 5000 m² of beans of the Calima variety (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) was carried out for commercial purposes and as a productive model on the La Esperanza farm, in the Centro Norte district, in the municipality of Chámeza Casanare. For the execution of this project, an optimal agronomic management was carried out, where it was taken into account from the soil analysis that was carried out in the Soils laboratory of the University of La Salle, to each of the stages during the crop cycle as personnel selection and training, lot cleaning and removal of bulky material, pH leveling with CAL, sowing, reseeding, soil and foliar fertilization, weed control and harvest for subsequent marketing in the urban area of the municipality and other municipalities in the department of Casanare. It was shown that the planting density used for the crop did not affect productivity, even considering that a monoculture was established. However, for future projects in the region it is recommended to apply an adequate agronomic management plan. The project had a high social impact since the employment relationship of the elderly and people with disabilities was achieved, facilitating a job opportunity that is rarely seen in the region for this type of population. Regarding the commercialization of beans, given that it was in times of a pandemic, it positively managed to explore sales strategies such as the use of WhatsApp groups for commercial use in the municipality of Chámeza to offer the product, facilitanting direct interaction with the clients and avoiding intermediaries in sales.
