Resumen

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo satisfacer la demanda significativa de frijol (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) variedad cargamanto rojo y la diversificación de cultivos alimentarios en el municipio de Quinchía (Risaralda) a través de la implementación de un proyecto productivo de frijol y sus componentes. Se evaluó la eficacia de la aplicación de productos naturales, biológicos y orgánicos para el manejo integrado de plagas y enfermedades en el cultivo, como nuevas tecnologías y alternativas de manejo para los agricultores locales. Como componente investigativo del proyecto, se evaluó el efecto de dos productos biológicos (Trichoderma sp. y Micorrizas) en el control de la enfermedad de antracnosis (Colletotrichum lindemuthianum). El componente social del proyecto se enfocó en realizar extensión rural en el municipio para promover la realización de huertas caseras y la diversificación de cultivos alimentarios con el fin de aportar a la sostenibilidad socioambiental y seguridad alimentaria local. Por último, mediante el componente de empresarización, se promovió un valor agregado a la comercialización de frijol con manejo fitosanitario limpio, es decir libre de agroquímicos, el cual se vendió sin intermediación. La producción total obtenida fue de 0,176 Ton y unos rendimientos de 0,704 Ton/ha. Teniendo en cuenta que se sembró en asocio con el cultivo de café.

The objective of this work is to satisfy the significant demand for beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) variety Cargamanto Rojo and the diversification of food crops in the municipality of Quinchía (Risaralda) through the implementation of a production project for beans and their components. The effectiveness of the application of natural, biological, and organic products for the integrated management of pests and diseases in crops was evaluated, as new technologies and management alternatives for local farmers. As a research component of the project, the effect of two biological products (Trichoderma sp. and Mycorrhizae) in the control of anthracnose disease (Colletotrichum lindemuthianum) was evaluated. The social component of the project focused on carrying out rural extension in the municipality to promote the creation of home gardens and the diversification of food crops to contribute to socio-environmental sustainability and local food security. Finally, through the entrepreneurship component, added value was promoted to the commercialization of beans with clean phytosanitary management, that is, free of agrochemicals, which were sold without intermediation. The total production obtained was 0.176 Ton and yields of 0.704 Ton/ha. Considering that it was planted in association with coffee cultivation.
