Resumen

Esta investigación considerada relevante para la comunidad académica reconstruir los aportes de Alberto Martínez Boom a la educación en Colombia, desde su pensamiento e investigaciones. Enmarcada en un enfoque cualitativo con un método biográfico narrativo, se indagó en diferentes fuentes de primer y segundo orden a fin de identificar, en primer lugar, los rasgos significativos en la trayectoria de vida de Alberto Martínez Boom; en segundo lugar, destacar la línea de su pensamiento educativo; y en tercer lugar, precisar sus aportes relacionados con las prácticas pedagógicas y la investigación en el contexto educativo colombiano. Para la recolección de la información se seleccionó una muestra de nueve informantes a partir de unos criterios de filiación académica y familiar con el maestro Martínez Boom. En concordancia con el enfoque cualitativo, se aplica las técnicas de entrevista en profundidad y análisis de materiales documentales; como instrumentos, el guion que logren la realización de las entrevistas y la matriz de análisis documental la cual se hizo mediante la lectura de la producción intelectual del maestro y la referenciada por otros autores en relación con su vida y obra. El análisis de la información se hizo atendiendo un análisis cualitativo mediante el método de análisis de contenido y aplicando el proceso de destilación de la información, atendiendo a los procesos de codificación, clasificación y categorización de la información. Los hallazgos de la interpretación están relacionados con las categorías que emergieron del análisis, así: Rasgos del maestro Martínez Boom; Ejes de su pensamiento y su Contribución a la educación.

This research considered relevant for the academic community to reconstruct the contributions of Alberto Martinez Boom to education in Colombia, from his thinking and research. Framed in a qualitative approach with a narrative biographical method, it was investigated in different sources of first and second order in order to identify, in the first place, the significant traits in the life trajectory of Alberto Martinez Boom; Second, to highlight the line of his educational thinking; And third, to specify their contributions related to pedagogical practices and research in the Colombian educational context. For the collection of information, a sample of nine informants was selected based on criteria of academic and family affiliation with the teacher Martinez Boom.In agreement with the qualitative approach, the techniques of deep interview and analysis of documentary materials were applied; As instruments, the script that allowed the interviews and the matrix of documentary analysis through which the intellectual production of the teacher was read and referenced by other authors in relation to their life and work. The analysis of the information was done by a qualitative analysis using the method of content analysis and applying the process of distillation of the information, taking into account the processes of codification, classification and categorization of the information. The findings of the interpretation are related to the categories that emerged from the analysis, as follows: Traits of the teacher Martinez Boom; Axes of histhought and his Contribution to education. It is expected that this research project owes the contributions of the teacher Martinez Boom to contribute to the training and qualification of the Colombian teachers
