This study presents the results of an investigation developed within the framework of the Teaching Master Program of the La Salle University during the year 2018. In this context, the objective of the present investigation was establishing the relationships between the teaching styles of the teachers and the learning styles of the students of the Philosophy and Letters Program of the La Salle University. A sectional design was used and the Grasha and Riechmann´s Model (1992) were adapted, which combines the teaching profile, the instructional process used in the classes and the learning styles of the students. Likewise, two questionnaires proposed by these same authors were applied, namely: the Inventory of Teaching Styles (TSI) and the Learning Styles Scale (GRLSS). The analysis of the results showed that the predominant trinomial of teaching styles Facilitator/Formal Authority/Expert is the characterization of the teachers in the Philosophy and Letters Program of the La Salle University. However, the resulting combination is not included into the primary or secondary clusters of teaching which were proposed by these authors. On the other hand, the trilogy: Collaborative/Independent/Participant constitute the predominance of the learning styles of the students of this program, this primary combination is the same of the clusters 3 and 4 which are described in the aforementioned model.
