Resumen en lengua extranjera 1
In a post-conflict scenario and territorial peace building, it becomes necessary to rethink the territory with alternatives that generate a complete transformation to the current development model. This model has been shown not to have generated the impacts required to achieve local development that guarantees the balance and well-being of all actors in the territory and the bio-physical space in which they interact. Thus, it seeks to determine an alternative of local development for Colombia that is sustainable not only with the environment but also with society, a model that integrates the different actors of the territory; indigenous communities, peasants, communal action boards, and social and civic organizations, among others. Considering other experiences of local cooperative development, in this research, we want to determine if it is possible to generate local development in the municipality of Saravena, department of Arauca, through the promotion of solidarity economy, in order to solve the problems that for years the current development model has not been able to overcome. The research identified the elements of the solidarity sector needed to generate local development in the municipality built from documentary review, a characterization of the current state of the solidarity sector of the municipality constructed from documentary revision, surveys and semi-structured interviews, to finally evaluate the solidarity economy as an alternative development in the municipality of Saravena.
