The objective of this work is to verify the effectiveness of the control of mastitis with an autogenous bacterin, elaborated from the etiológic agent isolated itself in same property where the study became. The behavior was evaluated considering the count of somatic cells (CSC) and the test of California Mastitis (CMT), on these two parameters is based the study. For this two groups chose themselves at random conformed each one by 15 cows, one of healthy cows or that presented subclinical mastitis (Group A) and another group of ill cows that presented clinical mastitis (Group B). To each group a pursuit was made him more or less of a month where the agent could be isolated cause of the infection and on the basis of this to make the vaccine. In the web that I a applied to him dose of the vaccine began to make CSC in samples of milk. At the same time in the milking towards a palpation to see the consistency of udder and him to him towards the test of CMT, son this milk sample was transported to the laboratory, whit a drop of milk in laminates there after a procedure towards the CSC in the microscope. This was made once by every eight days, during 6 weeks consecutive, son sep to be made every 15 days by a month, so that it gave a total us of 8 samplings. The group to in the beginning showed a CSC of 124.667 of somatic cells/ml, whereas group B gave 872.667 of somatic cells/ml, whit elevating, teh number high of nipples that gave positive to the CMT, to the eight days the second application of the vaccine was done to them and an increase in both groups was made the CSC giving us of somatic cells. The eight diasse the observe an increase in the CSC in the group to count gave 199.467 cs/ml and in 1.097.667 group Bcs/ml and a number of nipples that maerked positive had a very insignicantly increase that was of 78 of the web previous to 88. to the web number then at the end of the study results that were obtained were, in the group to cs/ml was 99.733 and of 623.333 group B cs/ml and the number of nipples that marked positive lowered up to 54. the CSC in the cows od group B tends to continue lowring until arriving at a normal level of SC.
