The colostrum is the first food that receives the pig being the most important for his life contributing a series of defenses and antibodies; the route for which the antibodies come to the fetus is determined by the placental structure. The porcine species belongs to the group III of mammals characterized by the structure of the placenta that is epithelium chorionic, since the epithelium chorionic foetal establishes contact with the uterine intact epithelium; in these animals the step is not allowed transplacentary of molecules of immunoglobulin, and the neonatos of these species depend completely on the antibodies that receive by means of the colostrum. The fact of the major or minor penetration of the hairinesses of the corion in the endometrium determines the step of the mother immunoglobulin. Depending on the distribution of the corion on the mucous uterine in the sow, the placenta is diffuse due to the fact that the whole corion is in touch with the mucous of the uterus (Tizard, 2002). The transmission of immunity of the sow to the newborn pigs by means of the colostrum is the only phenomenon in the prevention of infectious diseases which is named a passive immunity (Redondo, 2001). Therefore, this one investigation tries to evaluate the quality of the colostrum depending on the quantity of present IgG in the same one, having in it counts principally the number of lactation of the sows to sampling and their comparison taking the weight as variables to the weaning of the different litters and the mortality of the same ones. IgG's quantification was realized using the Elisa test. The results were submitted to an analysis of blocks completely at random; an ANAVA was realized for the variables of initial weight and final weight using the averages and comparing them with the number of lactation, which threw not significant results since the value for P was > 0.0001. Later the coefficient of correlation was obtained for the weight and IgG's concentration compared by the number of lactation which turned out to be inverse indicating that to major number of lactation the quantity of present IgG in the colostrum diminishes.
