Resumen
El tema de la investigación es la Fasciolasis bovina, cuyas bases conceptuales, antecedentes y enfoques teóricos y operacionales se exponen en la Introducción, en el planteamiento del problema y en el marco de referencia. El área en donde se centrará el trabajo y diseño para control y prevención de la enfermedad es la de los municipios de Duitama, Paipa, Sotaquirá y Tuta, en el departamento de Boyacá (Colombia). (Ver Anexo B). Se parte de que existen factores biológicos, topográficos, climáticos y humanos que en distinta medida se reflejan en la presencia, evolución y magnitud de la Fasciolasis. Por ello, el problema que se plantea consiste en el diseño de la prevención y el control de la Fasciolasis bovina en los municipios señalados. Este planteamiento, en sí mismo, representa el objetivo central de la investigación, por cuanto hacia allá tiende el esfuerzo académico y operativo. Pero existen otras metas en el estudio, como la determinación del impacto de la Fasciolasis en los bovinos de las explotaciones ganaderas en el área observada y la concientización de la comunidad regional sobre el problema de la Fasciola hepática, su importancia económica y el riesgo para la salud pública.

The topic of the investigation is the Bovine Fasciolasis whose conceptual bases, antecedents and theoretical and operational focuses are exposed in the Introduction, in the set up of the problem and in the reference frame. The area where it will be centered the work and design of the program for control and prevention of the disease is that of the municipalities of Duitama, Paipa, Sotaquirá and Tuta, in the department of Boyacá. Obviously, there are biological, topographical, climatic and human factors that are reflected in the presence, evolution and magnitude of the Fasciolasis in different measure. For it, the problem that thinks about consists on the implementation and execution of a program for the prevention and the control of the Bovine Fasciolasis in the named municipalities. This position, in itself, represents the central objective of the investigation, since toward there it spreads the academic and operative efforts. But other goals exist in the study, as the determination of the impact of the Fasciolasis in the bovine of the cattle exploitations in the observed area and the concientización of the regional community about the problem of the Hepatic Fasciola, their economic importance and the risk for the public health.
