Abstract
Productivity in current livestock needs efforts in order to improve the indicators. In this regard, the presentation of alterations at the uterus level limits the above. This research aimed to determine ultrasonographically the prevalence of reproductive tract alterations at the ovary, oviduct and uterus levels of bovine females older than 3 years and to establish the relationship of age and racial type Bos taurus, Bos indicus and half-blood in the presentation of these abnormalities for which 196 ultrasounds were taken. Of the echographies taken, 11.73% (26 animals) revealed abnormalities where the uterine (blood content 1.02%, endometritis 4.08%, pyometra 1.02%, retention of placenta 1.02%) reported on 7.14% of them and the oviductal ones (salpingitis) 4,59%. No correlation was found between age (P=0.11) or racial type (P=0.84) for the presentation of alterations.
