Abstract

Trends in Higher Education in general analyzed and how they are incorporated in the Program of Information Systems, Library and Archives (PSIBA) of the University of La Salle-Colombia. The methodology consisted of a documentary research, based on the review of approaches of experts in the area and then collated with strategic plans and management reports. The results highlight a high degree of incorporation of the trends in the Program, indicating as a conclusion its position in Latin America, which is a benchmark for the accreditation of academic programs and Library and Archival Schools.
