Abstract
The following report is from an equine of 32 months of age who arrives at the consultation because about three months ago he manifested constant unilateral epistaxis due to the right ollar and inflammation of the upper eyelid. The physical examination was carried out in which bilateral inflammation of saleros, masseter muscles, retropharyngeal and sublingual ganglia was found, more notorious on the right side, accompanied by a mucus-like mucus secretion, unilateral right whitish, with presence of fetid exhalation that increases after the exercise. A diagnostic plan is initially established with a culture in which there is presence of Epidermophytun Sp and Aspergillus sp, with proliferation of Gram + sensitive coccobacilli to Gentamicin and Ceftiofur. It is established treatment with antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, antimycotic and before the recurrence of symptoms a homotoxicological treatment is determined which culminates satisfactorily with the pathological process.
