Abstract

Ethical-political training reaffirms the university as a setting for critical and humanistic training practices and processes. The importance of ethical-political training is analyzed as a transversal category in doctoral programs. The methodology integrates analytical, metric and meta-analytical strategies, considering deconstruction and re-construction procedures based on diverse approaches that underpin the ethicalpolitical training category. As a result of the theoretical-documentary review and the metric study that takes bibliometric indicators as inputs, it was evidenced that this category is not yet explored to guide doctoral training, with the possibility of permeating the strategic interaction: Technology-research-innovation. In the discussion it is assumed that the ethical-political commitment from education refers to the set of strategies that suggest a network of complex relationships, with key actors such as teachers, curricular managers, directors, students and graduates, who must be aware of the historical time they live, with a high critical, analytical and purposeful spirit. It is concluded that there is a void in terms of understanding the ethicalpolitical as a transversal bet that guides training at the doctoral level and that inspires research and innovation actions, mediated by the use of technology, which makes it necessary to implement training for such an end.
