Resumen
La presente investigación da a conocer las características de los procesos de formación de ciudadanía juvenil desde el Break Dance, por medio de talleres participativos con tres miembros del colectivo Soul Strong y cuatro de Colombians Break Dance Crew, quienes hacen parte de la cultura Hip Hop al practicar este como estilo de vida. Con la información recolectada, interpretamos la influencia entre identidad y cultura juvenil, tal como las formas de participación constituidas en lo común e instituidas en lo público, que nos permitieron abordar la formación política desde los escenarios, apuestas estéticas y propuestas contra hegemónicas que influyen en la consolidación de ciudadanías juveniles. Este proceso permitió entender que, los jóvenes encuentran en el arte y la cultura un canal de visibilización y expresión por el cual construyen junto al otro/a, sin olvidarse de su individualidad. A su vez, participan en proyectos institucionales que refuerzan la organización juvenil desde lo fraterno y lo común. El Break Dance, les ofrece escenarios de formación alternativa en la que refuerzan su formación política, al incluir características como la movilización y transformación a su práctica artística.

The present research reveals the characteristics of the process of formation of youth citizenship since the Break Dance, through participatory workshops with three members of the group Soul Strong and four Colombians Break Dance Crew, who are part of the Hip Hop culture at Practice this as a lifestyle. With the information collected, we interpret the influence between youth identity and culture, as the forms of participation constituted in the common and instituted in the public, that allowed us to approach the political formation from the scenarios, aesthetic bets and proposals against hegemonic that influence in the consolidation of youthful citizenships. This process allowed us to understand that young people find in art and culture a channel of visibility and expression by which they construct with each other, without forgetting their individuality. In turn, they participate in institutional projects that reinforce the youth organization, from the fraternal and the common. The Break Dance, offers them alternative training scenarios in which they reinforce their political formation, by including characteristics such as mobilization and transformation to their artistic practice.
