This study was conducted at a conventional intensive swine farm, with the purpose of evaluating the survival and the weigh gain in lowweight birth piglets during the stage of lactation. In the present research, one day born piglets were evaluated until the end of the lactation stage at 28 days of age. The piglets belonged to PIC genetic, 400 lowweight piglets both females and males, between a range of 0.8 and 1.2 Kg, were evaluated. The study was developed under an aleatory design, establishing four treatments T1 Pigletfood+Hemovec B-12®, T2 DextrominB®+Hemovec B-12®, T3 Promocalier® + Hemovec B-12® and T4 placebo group; when significant statistics were found (p<0.05), a multiple average comparison test was donest statistical differences (Duncan). After evaluating the parameter of body weight, significant statistics were also found (p<0.05), three days after piglets were born, showing the average highest weight for treatment T3, but without presenting significant differences with T2 and T1, but presenting a significant difference with T4. At weaning stage, it was found the same tendency as the one found at 3 days of age. With respect to the weight gaining, it was found that at 3 days of age, this parameter keeps the body weight tendency, when this parameter was evaluated at weaning stage, its was found that T3 showed the best gains (1.27kg), followed by T2 (1.03kg) and T1 (0.95kg); followed by T4 with a gain of (0.95kg) but with significant statistic differences with respect to T3 (p<0.05). When the analysis of the costs was evaluated, it was observed that T3 showed the highest weight gain for each peso $ of investment, which is in concordance with the statistical results reported. In conclusion T3 was the best treatment for body weight and weight gaining.
