The treatment was made under the necessity of finding a profitable alternative in the feeding of Commercial Cebú livestock. For this purpose we went to Hacienda la Europa in Lebrija, Santander where there is managed great quantity of these types of animals. The main objective was to experiment during sixty three days the behavior of the cattle, based on specific variables: consumption of the given food, weight gain and bodyweight. The experiment was based on three different types of feeding (Brachiaria paddock, King Grass, corn silage), randomly it was chosen one batch in which there were ninety steers, of these ninety we chose thirty that where then divided in three groups of ten, one for each diet and type of feeding. A period of habituation was made for each group, in which the specific diet was supplied with water and salt (consumed voluntarily). After the period of habituation, we started the period of weighing and we started to get the results in weigh of each animal and average weight of each lot. The days of habituation allowed the easy intake of the next sixty two days of the project, the food given was previously weighted to know and measure the food intake and the food surplus and it allowed us to get into the conclusions you will find later in this thesis project. After one month of study, it was made another weighing of the three lots with the objective of analyzing the daily gain of weight (GPD) compared with the initial weight. 16 Finally, we made the final weighting, where the obtained results were analyzed in terms of the studied variables and the economic profit of each diet. The obtained results showed that the T2 Treatment was the one that had a greater gain of weight compared to the other two treatments, which showed the reduction of the fattening period. Even though the production costs were higher than the other two treatments during the sixty three days, T2 had the highest efficiency and profitability.
