Resumen

Actualmente en Cundinamarca, la mayor parte de granjas porcícolas emplean como sistema reproductivo la monta natural. Gracias al desarrollo de la tecnología moderna se posibilita el uso de la inseminación artificial que ofrece grandes beneficios como son la disminución del riesgo sanitario, costos de producción y mejoramiento genético de la especie. Sin embargo, el acceso a la tecnología se ve limitado debido a los costos que esto ocasiona y solamente pueden acceder personas que poseen altos recursos económicos, por esta razón se hace necesario crear alternativas accesibles a pequeños y medianos porcicultores, por tal razón es de vital importancia implementar la Inseminación Artificial porcina como técnica de reproducción. La Inseminación Artificial permite multiplicar la capacidad reproductiva que aplicada efectivamente evita la difusión de enfermedades infecto-contagiosas y el óptimo aprovechamiento de animales de alto valor genético, de tal manera se concluye que con la Inseminación artificial existe un mejor aprovechamiento de la eyaculación comparado con el sistema de monta natural, al igual que garantiza la calidad del semen al momento de inseminar la cerda. El bajo nivel tecnológico con que cuentan las granjas porcinas estudiadas se ve reflejado en que solamente un 7% de los productores utilizan la Inseminación Artificial, lo cual brinda una gran oportunidad para montar el Centro de Inseminación Artificial y así brindar los grandes beneficios económicos y genéticos que este sistema de reproducción ofrece para el sector agropecuario en general, lo que conlleva a que el país retorne a una senda de crecimiento estable y con tasas altas, puesto que contribuye a la generación de empleo y a la reactivación de la demanda de los productos agrícolas.

At the moment in Cundinamarca, most of farms porcícolas uses as reproductive system it mounts it natural. Thanks to the development of the modern technology the use of the artificial insemination is facilitated that he/she offers big benefits like they are the decrease of the sanitary risk, costs of production and genetic improvement of the species. However, the access to the technology is limited due to the costs that this causes and they can only consent people that possess high economic resources, for this reason it becomes necessary to create alternative accessible to small and medium pig breeder, for such a reason it is of vital importance to implement the swinish Artificial Insemination as reproduction technique. The Artificial Insemination allows to multiply the reproductive capacity that applied indeed it avoids the diffusion of infect-contagious illnesses and the good use of animals of high genetic value, in such a way you concludes that with the artificial Insemination a better use of the ejaculation compared with the system exists of it mounts natural, the same as it guarantees the quality from the semen to the moment to inseminate the sow. The technological low-level with which they count the studied swinish farms it is reflected in that only a 7% of the producers uses the Artificial Insemination, that which offers a great opportunity to mount the Center of Artificial Insemination and this way the big economic and genetic benefits that this reproduction system offers for the agricultural sector in general to toast, what bears to that the country returns to a path of stable growth and with high rates, since it contributes to the employment generation and the reactivation of the demand of the agricultural products.
