According to the decree 1421 of 2017) that it was issued by the Ministry of national Education of Colombia, the educational institutions must attend to inclusive education. Thus, there is a need to talk about the use of didactic material which considers the diversity of students in terms of physical, cognitive or emotional disabilities, and that does not generate situations of exclusion. Thus, the objective of this research project is to determine the impact that teaching materials based on the DUA guidelines have on inclusive education within the English language class in the fifth and sixth grades of the Teresita de Lisieux school and the ninth and tenth grades of the Liceo Mayor de Soacha. For this purpose, a socio-critical paradigm was approached along with a qualitative approach and a type of transformative action-participatory research. Therefore, three techniques with their respective instruments were chosen and applied: a survey-questionnaire, observation-field diary, and a semi-structured interview script. The results show that an inclusive education must take into account a series of factors originating from the same interests of the students, which go hand in hand with the subject matter and provide guidance for the design and implementation of teaching materials within the regular classroom. It is concluded that it is possible to have materials for all students immersed in the classroom without forgetting the disabilities.
