Resumen
El trabajo investigativo presente en este documento, tiene como fin generar un análisis de las problemáticas culturales que se están dando actualmente en el municipio de Zipaquirá, y como esto ha llevado al abandono de un inmueble patrimonial (teatro Roberto Mac-Douall) que a su vez ha llevado a que este se desvincule de la cultura de Zipaquirá, si bien, el municipio tiene en importante atractivo turístico como lo es la Catedral de sal, los visitantes no encuentran otros atractivos.
Para dar solución a esta problemática se propone un proyecto arquitectónico que revitalice el teatro Roberto Mac-Douall y consolide de los centros de manzana como elementos estructurantes de la cultura y la educación artística en el municipio, con este fin, se hace un análisis abordando los componentes físicos-espaciales, socio-culturales e históricos que permiten desarrollar estrategias para recuperar un valioso inmueble patrimonial, y así mismo brindar un espacio para la educación artística y generar un sentido cultural en la población de Zipaquirá.

The research work present in this document aims to generate an analysis of the cultural problems that are currently occurring in the municipality of Zipaquirá, and how this has led to the abandonment of a heritage property (Roberto Mac-Douall theater) that in turn has led to it being disassociated from the culture of Zipaquirá, although the municipality has an important tourist attraction such as the Salt Cathedral, visitors do not find other attractions. To solve this problem, an architectural project is proposed that revitalizes the Roberto Mac-Douall theater and consolidates the block centers as structuring elements of culture and artistic education in the municipality, to this end, an analysis is made addressing the physical-spatial, socio-cultural and historical components that allow developing strategies to recover a valuable heritage property, and also provide a space for artistic education and generate a cultural sense in the population of Zipaquirá.
