Resumen
El proyecto de investigación tiene como fin identificar una propuesta de solución al problema de ubicación de plataformas logísticas a través del corredor férreo del atlántico utilizando el modelamiento matemático FACILITY LOCATION PROBLEM identificando como caso de solución la instalación de plataformas logísticas o hubs con el uso del método HUB LOCATION PROBLEM. El objeto de estudio de la investigación es realizar el análisis del transporte de carga en el país a través del corredor férreo del atlántico, con el estudio realizado se identifica que el mayor flujo de carga del país actualmente se realiza por el modo carretero, este modo de transporte se desarrolla de una manera poco competitiva aumentando los costos logísticos y el tiempo de transporte. En el desarrollo de la investigación se desarrolló la formulación de un modelo matemático de programación entera mixta integrada en la metodología del trabajo, donde a través de este se desarrolla una propuesta de localización de plataformas logísticas o hubs sobre el corredor férreo del atlántico permitiendo la integración de los diferentes modos de transporte apoyando a la multimodalidad a la que el país apuesta en el CONPES 3547 para el año 2020. Por último, se presenta una comparación donde se contrasta la situación actual de transporte de carga del país con la situación propuesta implementando la estrategia del multimodalismo y así identificar cuál de las dos estrategias permite un avance en el transporte de carga del país

The research project aims to identify a solution for the solution of the problem of strategic location of the platforms through the physical corridor of the system through mathematical modeling. PROBLEM OF LOCALIZATION OF THE INSTALLATION identify as a solution case the installation of logistic platforms or centers with the use of the CENTER LOCATION PROBLEM method. The object of study of the research is to carry out the analysis of freight transport in the country through the Atlantic corridor where, through the study carried out, the largest cargo flow in the country is identified, this mode of transport is currently developed from a uncompetitive way as it is the transport of load by means of the road mode. In the development of the research the formulation of a mathematical model of mixed whole programming integrated in the work methodology was developed, where through this a proposal of location of logistic platforms or hubs on the Atlantic corridor of the railway allowing the integration is developed. of the different modes of transport supporting the multimodality to which the country bets in the CONPES 3547 for the year 2020. Finally, a comparison is presented where the current situation of cargo transport in the country is contrasted with the proposed situation by implementing the multimodal strategy and thus identify which of the two strategies allows an advance in the transport of cargo in the country
