Resumen

El presente proyecto se llevó a cabo en el municipio de San Pablo de Borbur, departamento de Boyacá, desarrollando cuatro componentes: (a) agronómico, (b) investigativo, (c) social (d) de comercialización. En cuanto al componente agronómico, se estableció un área de 2.500 m2 de maní (Arachis hipogaea) variedad Azul, obteniendo una producción de 330 kg de fruto fresco. Como componente de investigación, se estableció un ensayo, cuyo objetivo consistió en determinar la productividad de las variedades azul y roja, establecidas tradicionalmente en la región; las variables evaluadas fueron días a floración, número de cápsulas por planta, número de semillas por cápsula, número de semillas por planta, peso de 100 semillas y rendimiento en t/ha. Dentro de los resultados encontrados se destacan los siguientes; la variedad azul fue la de mayor rendimiento tanto en el número de semillas por cápsula y número de semillas por planta; algunos agricultores de la zona mencionaron que en promedio con la variedad azul obtuvieron de 60 a 70 cápsulas por planta, realizando únicamente un manejo de quema y aporque, esto indica la importancia de realizar un manejo agronómico adecuado y la conservación de las variedades nativas El componente social se centró en la capacitación a los agricultores con relación al manejo seguro de plaguicidas en cultivos de lulo (Solanum quitoense), abordando las temáticas relacionadas con la selección del producto de acuerdo con su finalidad técnica, el transporte, almacenamiento, manipulación y disposición final de empaques. Como resultado de esta actividad se puede resaltar que: los agricultores expresaron la importancia de realizar un correcto manejo de los plaguicidas y los riesgos que estos traen en cuanto a la contaminación del agua, el suelo y la salud de ellos mismos y del consumidor final. Por último, se desarrolló el componente de comercialización, utilizando como estrategia la venta del maní en grano directamente al consumidor, en la cual el 89% fue vendido para consumo a un precio de $8.000/kg y el 11% restante se vendió como semilla a $10.000/kg.

This project was carried out in the municipality of San Pablo de Borbur, department of Boyacá, developing four components: agronomic, investigative, social and marketing. Regarding the agronomic component, an area of 2,500 m2 of peanuts (Arachis hipogaea) variety Azul was established, obtaining a production of 412 kg of fresh fruit. As a research component, a trial was established, the objective of which was to determine the productivity of the blue and red varieties, traditionally established in the region. Among the results found, the following stand out, the blue variety was the one with the highest yield both in the number of seeds per capsule and the number of seeds per plant, some farmers in the area mentioned that on average with the blue variety they obtain 60 to 70 capsules per plant, carrying out only a burning and hilling management, this indicates the importance of carrying out an adequate agronomic management and the conservation of native varieties The social component focused on training farmers in relation to the safe handling of pesticides, addressing issues related to the selection of the product according to its technical purpose, transportation, storage, handling and final disposal of packaging. As a result of this activity, the following can be mentioned, the farmers expressed the importance of carrying out a correct handling of pesticides and the risks that these bring in terms of contamination of water, soil and, the health of themselves and the consumer final. Finally, the marketing component was developed, using as a strategy the sale of the product directly to the consumer, in which 89% was sold for consumption at a price of $ 8,000 / kg and the remaining 11% was sold as seed at $ 10,000 / kg.
