Resumen

Se estableció un sistema productivo de maíz (Zea mays) variedad ICA V109 en el corregimiento de Las Mercedes, municipio de Puerto Triunfo, departamento de Antioquia, en un área de 10.000 m2, implementando los conocimientos técnicos requeridos para garantizar la rentabilidad y producción del cultivo, buscando así una alternativa económica para los habitantes de los corregimientos interesados en la agricultura. El proyecto productivo implementa un plan de manejo técnico completo, el cual incluye: plan de fertilización basado en análisis de suelo y manejo integrado de plagas, enfermedades y arvenses. El factor más limitante fue la lluvia pues causo daños en más del 50% del cultivo, tumbando plantas y arrancándolas de raíz, además la dificultad a la hora de adquirir los fertilizantes debido a la emergencia sanitaria que se vive actualmente. A pesar de las condiciones y percances, la cosecha se llevó a cabo en el mes de enero. Este proyecto tiene un estudio de mercadeo y análisis financiero con el fin de saber las fluctuaciones que ha sufrido el mercado y así saber si es rentable establecer el cultivo. Este proyecto permite integrar distintos factores y relacionarlos. Adicionalmente se implementó y desarrolló una investigación bajo las condiciones climáticas del corregimiento de la Mercedes en el municipio de Puerto Triunfo (Antioquia), con el objetivo de evaluar el rendimiento de tres genotipos de maíz (Zea mays). Para esto se usaron 3 tratamientos con 5 repeticiones. Los tratamientos corresponden a: (variedad ICA 109, variedad ICA 556 y Criollo amarillo) con un diseño de bloque completamente al azar; esto con el fin de proporcionar homogeneidad en los tratamientos, De esta manera se determinó cuál de estos genotipos es mejor opción a la hora de implementar un cultivo. También se relacionó el proyecto productivo con la comunidad mediante un componente social, por lo tanto, se hizo una caracterización de adultos mayores y personas con discapacidad para saber más acerca del ámbito socioeconómico de los mismos, ya que son los que presentan mayor vulnerabilidad y pocas veces son tenidos en cuenta para vincularlos a proyectos. Finalmente, en el componente de empresarización, la producción obtenida no cumplió con lo planificado, ya que solo se obtuvo producción de la mitad del cultivo, el área restante fue arrasada por la escorrentía que ocasionaron las altas precipitaciones. A través del desarrollo del proyecto de grado se obtuvo un amplio conocimiento en el manejo agronómico del cultivo de maíz (Zea mays). Además, el componente social e investigativo involucro un trabajo cercano con la comunidad, permitió conocer detalladamente las condiciones socioeconómicas de esta, entender a fondo las problemáticas y necesidades de los adultos mayores, personas con discapacidad y pequeños productores de la zona, por ende, obtener un mayor conocimiento que permita la elaboración de un plan de acción para realizar un aporte más significativo para el desarrollo rural del corregimiento de Las Mercedes como del municipio de Puerto Triunfo.

A corn (Zea mays) production system (ICA V109 variety) was established in the township of Las Mercedes, municipality of Puerto Triunfo, department of Antioquia, in an area of 10,000 m2 , implementing the technical knowledge required to guarantee the profitability and production of the crop, thus seeking an economic alternative for the inhabitants of the townshagriculture. The production project implements a complete technical management plan, which includes a fertilization plan based on soil analysis and integrated management of pests, diseases, and weeds. The most limiting factor was the rain, which caused damage to more than 50% of the crop, knocking over plants and uprooting them, as well as the difficulty in acquiring fertilizers due to the current sanitary emergency. Despite the conditions and mishaps, the harvest was carried out in January. This project has a marketing study and financial analysis in order to know the fluctuations that the market has suffered and thus know if it is profitable to establish the crop. This project allows us to integrate different factors and relate them. Additionally, a research project was implemented and developed under the climatic conditions of the village of La Mercedes in the municipality of Puerto Triunfo (Antioquia), with the objective of evaluating the yield of three corn genotypes. For this, 3 treatments with 5 replications were used. The treatments correspond to: (ICA 109 variety, ICA 556 variety and yellow Criollo) with a completely randomized block design; this in order to provide homogeneity in the treatments, In this way it was determined which of these genotypes is the best option when implementing a crop. The productive project was also related to the community through a social component, therefore, a characterization of older adults and people with disabilities was made to learn more about their socioeconomic environment, since they are the most vulnerable and are rarely taken into account to link them to projects. Finally, in the entrepreneurship component, the production obtained did not meet what was planned, since only half of the crop was produced; the remaining area was destroyed by runoff caused by high rainfall. Through the development of the degree project, extensive knowledge was obtained on the agronomic management of the maize crop (Zea mays). In addition, the social and research component involved working closely with the community, allowing us to know in detail the socioeconomic conditions of the community, to understand in depth the problems and needs of the elderly, people with disabilities and small producers in the area, and therefore, to obtain more knowledge that will allow the development of an action plan to make a more significant contribution to the rural development of the township of Las Mercedes and the municipality of Puerto Triunfoips interested in
