Resumen
Este es un artículo resultado de una iniciativa propia hacia una construcción de paz desarrollada en la escuela Rural La Unión, sede de la Institución Educativa Departamental General Santander (IEDGS) de Sibaté, en la que nuestro objetivo principal fue conocer cuáles eran las pautas de socialización que implementaban los niños hacia una construcción de paz a partir de cuatro ejes articuladores propuestos: el yo, el otro, el entorno y la familia. Estas pautas fueron evidenciadas a través de la cartografía social, una metodología que nos permitió plasmar las vivencias de cada niño por medio de su cuerpo como territorio único y sagrado. De esta manera, nuestros objetivos específicos fueron dirigidos a comprender la concepción que los estudiantes tenían de su “yo” a partir del autoconocimiento de sí mismos. Pudimos analizar las relaciones que se construían entre ellos, permitiéndonos trabajar el diálogo, el trabajo en equipo y la mediación como formas de integración para solucionar conflictos. Trabajamos en el reconocimiento de los estudiantes hacia su municipio, resaltando el papel que como seres de derechos, deberes y habitantes del mismo, tienen. Gracias a la participación de los padres de familia y acudientes de los estudiantes, se logró incentivar el trabajo y el interés en las actividades escolares de los niños, exaltando el papel que juega la familia en la vida de cada estudiante y cómo la influencia de ella repercute en las relaciones que se crean entre los habitantes de una comunidad. Por consiguiente, los resultados de este proyecto hacen su mayor énfasis en la participación y el trabajo colaborativo que debe existir entre la familia y la escuela para que el niño logre una estabilidad emocional y social que propicie su vida en comunidad concebida por un entorno de paz. Logramos que cada niño perteneciente a la Escuela Rural La Unión no solo pudiera reconocer sus valores, sus habilidades, sus antivalores y sus debilidades como ser humano único y significativo, sino tener espacios para la auto-reflexión y el interés por querer trabajar en esos aspectos que le impiden llevar a cabo una convivencia responsable y pacífica con cada una de las personas que componen su entorno

This is an article of our own initiative towards a peace building developed in the Rural School La Union, headquarters of the Departmental General Santander (IEDGS) of Sibaté in which our principal goal was to know about what were the socialization patterns implemented by children towards a peace building based on four proposed articulated axes: (the self, the other, the environment and the family). These guidelines were evidenced through social cartography, a methodology that allowed us reflect the experiences of each child through its body as a unique and sacred territory. In this way, our specific objectives were directed to understand the students’ conception about their “self” from the self-knowledge. We were able to analyze the relationships that the students built between them, allowing us to work the dialogue, teamwork and mediation as ways of integration and conflict resolution. We worked the students’ recognition towards their district, highlighting the role that they have as beings of rights and duties. Thanks to the participation of the parents and attendants, we were able to improve the work and interest in students’ activities, exalting the role of the family in each student life, and how her influence has repercussions in the relationships that are created between the inhabitants of a community. Therefore, the results of this project places its greater emphasis on the participation and collaborative work that must exist between the family and school. So that, the child achieves an emotional and social stability that encourages his community’s life conceived by an environment of peace. We achieved that each child belonging to Rural School La Unión not only could recognize their values, abilities, anti-values and weaknesses as an unique and significant human being, but also have ambiences for self-reflection and interest in wanting to work in those aspects that prevent to carry out a responsible and pacific coexistence with each one of people that compose his environment
