Resumen

Actualmente la industria de las tecnologías de la información en Colombia está pasando por un crecimiento que viene apoyado por políticas del gobierno en cabeza del Ministerio de Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones, las cuales tienen como fin contribuir a la transformación de la industria de TI en un sector competitivo, a través de la dinamización de diferentes líneas de acción que conforman un modelo integral y sistémico de manera que se convierta en uno de los pilares de desarrollo económico en el país. (MinTIC, 2014) Sin embargo para que este crecimiento sea efectivo y las empresas se puedan encontrar en la capacidad de competir con las compañías extranjeras, se hace indispensable que se comiencen a implementar mejores prácticas que aumentar la calidad de los productos y servicios relacionados con el software que se genera en el país. empleados; sin embargo, es necesario realizar los cambios que sean pertinentes si se quiere competir con la industria extranjera, y por consiguiente generar mayor empleo y mejorar la calidad del software en el país. Por esta razón es importante que las empresas pueden adaptarse al siempre cambiante entorno de las tecnologías de la información, con el objetivo de poder responder a las necesidades del mercado.

Nowadays the IT industry in Colombia is going through a growth which is supported by the government policies through the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications, which aim to contribute to the transformation of the IT industry in a competitive sector through the revitalization of different lines of action that make a comprehensive and systemic model. So that it becomes one of the pillars of economic development in the country (MinTIC, 2014)However, in order to this growth to be effective, and the companies could be able to compete with their foreign counterparts, it is essential to start implementing best practices to improve the quality of products and services related to the software produced in the country.The implementation of better ways of doing the work is an effort for both the companies and employees, however it is necessary to make changes that are relevant if it wants to compete with foreign industry, and thus create more jobs and improve the quality of software in the country. For this reason it is important that the companies can adapt to the ever changing environment of information technologies, in order to respond to market needs.To try to contribute into this issue, the present project is based on an action research that seeks to generate and acquire knowledge about the industry of information technology in the country to define the desired state, meaning that changes are to be made to improve and propose an agenda of change that allows organizations to achieve that state.The research aims to propose a process methodology that has as its main objective three major departments of the organization, Sales, Talent and Operations, in order to implement best practices that will enable the organization to improve its processes while a culture of continuous improvement is generated, while improving the productivity of the people involved in the aforementioned processes
