The Feline Infectious peritonitis is an illness mediates by immunology that taken place by stumps of Feline coronavirus (CVFe), this virus possesses RNA of simple chain and it presents wide spectrum of virulence, for what causes illness in cats that it varies in graveness; generating high morbility and mortality especially of cats that come from areas of high stacking. It is presented in three different ways (humid, dry and mixed), this hinders every time but the diagnosis, because the evident clinical signs are inespecific and compatible with other gastrointestinal illnesses, breathing among others; obtaining as only tool diagnostic , the autopsy.A bibliographical revision of tests premortem for the diagnosis of this illness, finding that any one was sufficiently sensitive and specific thing. For that reason exist the correlation of the proteinogram and the Test of Coronavirus like test diagnosis of easy access and economic. For the study a population of 100 cats took at random, coming from clinical and hatcheries to which were carried out an exam of serum proteins differed with the purpose of establishing the relationship A/G; the cats that presented a relationship <0.81 were subjected to the coronavirus test, in a same way, those that presented abdominal gush, were analyzed them this liquid with proteinogram and she throws of urine, with the purpose of to classify it and to corroborate the proteinogram seric with that of the abdominal gush. The results obtained in this study were: 10 seropositive cats went to the proteinogram, six of these they were detected Ac for Coronavirus feline by means of the Test of Coronavirus, achieving a sensibility of 100% and a specificity of 95.7%. Concluding, the correlation of these two tests will allow to identifying an infected animal 100% of the times and those infected 95.7% of the times. Therefore they can take like tests mounted serologics with good qualities of specificity and sensibility that rot you used as clinical tools for the veterinary doctor dedicated to the feline medicine.
