Abstract
In order to obtain images of the surface of tanks or reservoirs, are designing and building an underwater search robot, which can inspect a container of water. The device has a system for the acquisition of video and images, which are displayed on a display connected to an embedded system, so it can be observed in real time, the state of the surfaces of the tank, find submerged objects and visualize what happens around the rov. Vehicle movements are controlled by a wireless system, comprising a joystick, a switch normally open, a touch screen, two sensors, a pressure and a temperature sensor, in charge of monitoring the physical condition of the water. Within the development of the robot is inferred subsequent improvements and modifications to achieve proper functioning in different ways. © 2013 IEEE.
