The experiment was carried out on the farm Matadepantano in the city of Yopal - Casanare, in order to assess the nutritional quality, growth and biomass production of Brachiaria decumbens pasture in the foothills Casanareño. Samples were collected every 7 days until day 42 of recovery of pasture, two types of grassland (renewable and nonrenewable) in two sampling times (junes – September) and (September – November) two models were applied sigmoid growth (Gompertz and logistic). The simulations were done using the software CNCPS with data obtained from fractionation and degradation of carbohydrates for ages 28.35 and 42 days of regrowth in the time of winter (maximum and minimum rainfall). Mathematical models to better fit the observed data is obtained that the average biomass production for the first sampling were of 992, 1213 and 1436 g/m2 for 28, 35 and 45 days respectively and for the second sampling were biomass production and lower, with values of 793, 923 and 1093g/m2. Gompertz model adequately adjusted for the 3 pasture to pasture unevaluated renovated during the period of maximum rainfall. Simulations were run CNCPS software with data obtained from fractionation and degradation of carbohydrates for the ages of 28 and 35 and 42 days of regrowth and the periods of maximum and minimum rainfall in rainy season. The values predicted by the model fit the actual levels of production of the farm. The model predicts that cutting age of 28 days are good yields without affecting the nutritional 18 quality by improving the protein: energy ratio and optimizing the production system as well as indicators of competitiveness and sustainability of farm milk. The average values of NDF found in the present study, 63.7%, 67.2% and 69% at 28, 35 and 42 days of regrowth (p> 0.05), showing a tendency to increase with increasing time of regrowth, The FDA values in this study on days 28, 35 and 42 were 34.7%, 36.9% and 38.5% (p <0.05) which shows a deterioration in the meadow which indicates that less degradability and digestibility in the diet and hence significant changes in the animal response. The fractionation of protein did not show significant differences in the fractions A, B1, B2, B3 between the different ages of recovery (P> 0.05), the case of fraction C showed a tendency, increasing the extent increased age (P <0.1), especially for the age of 42 days.
