Nowadays the technician animal productions depend in great majority of balanced feed, being subject to costs that the international trade imposes, this dependence affects the earnings and it becomes urgent to look for alternatives that provide solutions. In this investigation selected 50 white New Zeeland rabbits of +/-750 gr. of alive weight, as a completely randomized experimental design, with 10 experimental units for treatment, to evaluate the effect of the incorporation of the forages Morus alba L. and Sambucus nigra L. in substitution of the balanced commercial feed (FBC). The treatments consisted of 5 experimental diets, a control based on ABC to 100 % (T5, 2 with ABC to 66 % and forage ad libitum; mulberry (T1) and elder (T3) respectively. And both remaining ones with ABC to 33 % and forage ad libitum of the same form; mulberry (T2) and elder (T4). Of the proximal analysis both forages registered good protein content; Mulberry (19.58 %) and Elder (23.56 %), and his answer was determined by the fiber and the content of anti-nutritional factors. There were not situated significant differences P <0.05 for weight gain, between the treatments T1 and T5, not for carcass percentage for T1, T3 and T5, though in total weight the best difference was for T1. In the analysis of the majority of the variables, the treatment T1 to demonstrate a similar behavior to obtained with the T5. The best relation Cost / benefit was for the T1, since I contribute major profitability 41.95 % in absolute values, this moved to exploitation turns out to be a better opportunity of production to the conventional one with balanced commercial feed. Since conclusion turns out to be feasible to restrict the ABC to 66 % and to give mulberry ad libitum.
